What Are Permanent Cosmetics??
ABOUT
Permanent Cosmetics is the process of applying high quality pigments in the first layer of the skin.
Permanent Makeup Techniques: Microblade hair strokes, permanent brows, 3D brows, SofTap, micropigmentation, micropigment implantation, & dermagraphics. The cosmetic implantation technique deposits colored pigment into the upper reticular layer of the dermis.
With the rise of more makeup in the fashion and modeling industry, various new techniques are introduced. Women need to wear normal makeup on regular basis. As there is a greater technological advancement in everything permanent makeup techniques are becoming popular.
It is basically a cosmetic technique which produces designs that resemble makeup using tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis). It also includes eye lining, producing artificial eyebrows and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids. Microblade hair strokes, permanent brows Utah, 3d brows are some of the popular makeup techniques.

Microblade hair strokes
This technique is basically a semi-permanent tattoo in hair strokes. It has become just recently popular and looks natural. It has a short life and does not last long as compared to traditional tattoo. In this process there is no needle involved. So the ink does not go very deep.
As a result microblading is a suitable technique for those who like changing styles and want flexibility their eyebrow shape and/or color. This technique is a two part process which includes your initial treatment and a touch-up treatment about 4 to 6 weeks later. Moreover, it gives you a look which is more like hair than ‘filled brows’ thus making it more natural. You need to make sure to get this procedure done from an artist you can trust. They should have a license and be working in a clean and hygienic environment.
You should also pay great attention in choosing a suitable eyebrow shape in this procedure. The person who will do this procedure on you will draw in the eyebrow first so that you can see how will it exactly look like. Everyone has a unique and different face make sure that your eyebrow fits your face properly.
Because women are becoming busier with each passing day they need the convenience of a wash and wear face. So, permanent makeup is a perfect solution to this. Allure Artistry, providing permanent brows in Utah, will keep your eyebrows in amazing shape, form, and color. Permanent makeup is perfect for athletic, busy women and those aging in years who have trouble seeing or applying makeup.

As a result, the hand application method for this technique provides you with great comfort, fast healing, little touch-ups, and a natural look.

3D Brows
Microblading and 3D brows is a new and innovative technique. Therefore, using specially designed tools with natural color pigments draws 3D hair strokes directly onto the skin’s surface with precision. This method, unlike traditional eyebrow tattoo, does not give a dull and flat look.
It is also safer than eyebrow tattoo technique and this ink fades away and gives a more natural look. According to each client who takes this procedure pigment color are custom blended along with customized brow shape. The procedure results last for about 6 months to one year. Answers to the most frequently asked questions
Microblading and SofTap, which is done 100% by hand. The instruments we use are only used once by you and then discarded, making it the most sterile method. Because everything is done by hand, we have more control over placement of the pigment, quicker healing times, and we are able to achieve a more natural look.
Your first appointment takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. That includes your consultation, mapping and designing your shape together, numbing, and the procedure itself — We never want to rush the design part, since that’s what makes your brows look right on your face. Your touch-up session is quicker, usually about 1.5 hours.
Most clients are surprised by how manageable it is. We apply a numbing agent before we start and keep it on throughout, so what you feel is more of a light scratching or pressure than actual pain.
No. Your body needs time to heal each area properly, and I want to give my full attention to one procedure at a time so the result is as precise as possible. We can map out a timeline together at your consultation.
You’ll see some light flaking or peeling in the first 7 to 10 days — that’s totally normal, so don’t pick at it. The color will look bold at first, then soften as it heals, with your final result settling in over about 4 to 6 weeks.
Yes. Most clients go right back to their normal routine the same day or the next. Your brows will look a bit darker and bolder for the first several days while they heal, so if you have an event or photos coming up, plan your appointment a few weeks ahead.
Yes, we use topical numbing products before and during your procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible from start to finish.
No, unfortunately. For the safety of you and baby, we don’t perform microblading or permanent cosmetics on clients who are pregnant or nursing. This is standard across the industry since the numbing agents and pigments used haven’t been tested for that. Once you’re done nursing, we’d love to get you in.
Absolutely — some of my favorite clients are women who’ve been drawing on their brows for 30 years and are just done with it. Permanent cosmetics is wonderful for thinning brows, low vision, or hands that don’t cooperate with a pencil the way they used to. We’ll just look at your skin’s texture and health together and adjust the technique to get you the most natural result.
Think of the first session as laying the foundation — we shape it, color it, and your skin does its healing. As it heals, some of that pigment naturally softens and fades, and every client’s skin takes it a little differently. The second session lets us come back, see exactly how your skin held the color, and perfect the shape and saturation so it’s exactly right.
No. Without it, your brows can heal patchy or uneven, and the color won’t be as rich or long-lasting. The second session isn’t a touch-up add-on — it’s part of the process, and it’s what makes the difference between good brows and brows you love.
No, and that’s actually a good thing! Right after your procedure the color will look bolder and darker than your final result — that’s normal as the top layer of skin heals. It softens over the following few weeks and settles into a more natural shade, which is exactly why we do that second session, to fine-tune the color once we see how it settled.
No, microblading does not last forever. It is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo designed to fade over time. Results typically last between 1 and 3 years, depending on your skin type, skincare routine, and sun exposure
